HELLO ANIK AND APPLE TALK
I PUT expiry of national identity card date 2018-01-01 and explain it in cover lettter
is that ok then
thanks

I think it does not really matter. I went with a really meaningless 'fake' date :) - just so it looked obviously weird, but your option is as good as any

If we don't have grandparents date and month but only year OR if in any date field we don't exactly have date record and we cannot put n/a in date
then can we put any date and explain in letter?

i really appreciate your reply
as there is question about language details
it says in section b if your native language is not English or French which one do you use most frequently
so if my parents dont speak any of them should i say neither? or i can say English because they just know basic English not able to speak it or understand much
so i appreciate if u guys reply
thanks

Country of Issue of any national passport is the country to which this passport belongs to, in other words, citizenship of the passport. It will be India, not Germany. German aithorities in this case did not issue the passport but Indian authorities did...where they physically did it is irrelevant.

I didn't know that I thought that only true translation is fine and notarized is not necessary.

The translated copy should be original AND notarized.

Hello everyone,

I submitted the sponsorship application on Dec 2009, but every time I checked the processing time on CIC website I got disappointed, but today when I checked your Google doc, it gave me hope again. do you think it is a good idea to call them and check if there is anything new for my case, when do you think I may receive this additional document request? and another question please, when you said additional document requested could you please explain what kind of document do they usually request? Thanks.

sakamath, i guess every country is different. In my original country and in canadian passport it says something like "issuing office", which is the embassy of the coutry of citizenship of the passport. IMM008 clearly asks for "country of issue" of the passport, only country of a person's citizenship can issue a passport for that person. IMM008 does not ask for a place of issue. Thus, country of issue=India, place of issue=Embassy of India in Germany.
