it's funny... it was 2 lines for me last week... then 1 line on Saturday... then back 2 lines on Monday... and again 1 line today...
I missed out to see it on Saturday but I see 1 line today... Not sure what was going on

Shuga, is there an update for you with medicals received, or still not?

no, no update
still the same e-cas status 'application received' in 2008

Update from my side is that my parents completed medicals and the results were delivered to Ottawa on 30-Apr-2012

Updated
After, I confirmed with CPP-O my mother completed her medical in Canada and my father completed his medical in India. Medical results were delivered to Ottawa on April 27, 2012.

good question shuga - I tried to confirm meds and pcc were received with CPP-O by email...I received a response approximately one month later indicating that they could not reply to my request as the application was still within normal processing times

I sent e-mail and fax. CPP-O replied back after three days.

wow... you are lucky... i tried e-mail twice and both times got an autoreply that they can not reply :)

Hi everyone,

Thank you Suin and Mahbubeh for your reply, I called CIC this morning and they told me they have sent requests for the applications received no later than Nov 17, 2009. so for me I still need to wait for couple of weeks, but for those who have sent their application before that date I think they should check if they didn't get that request yet. Good luck everyone.

Yeah, it happened to me also.
Looking at the spreadsheet, there is not much movement at CPP-O after receiving medical results. Wonder if they are doing background checks.
Any ideas?
