Latest Update:-

It is currently talking 12-15 business days to open mail once send to CIC (FC4).
If you have not heard anything back for more than these days that just mean they have opened up the mail, move those documents to your existing file. Once time comes to review your file you will get update. 12-15 days above are only to open up mail.

CIC informed the CPC-O is processing application based on following:-

* Pilot project (only few countries selected, INDIA, CHINA & some other)
* No local knowledge is required
* No dependents
* No Immigration alert (or other security risk)
* English selected as language in Interview
* Previous History in Canada (have already visited Canada before)
* All documents in order

Hmmm, i remember we chose English because there were two options only, English and French. And wasn't it for correspondence, not an interview (?)

Thanks for the info. Where are you getting this info from? Is it your educated guess?

I want to believe info provided by apple talk.
So far no news from my side.(feb10).
I was pretty sure that this is the week but .....
May be next week.

after talking to CIC person who looked up my case & shared inside on how they are processing at CPC-O

I mailed documents in March & it was received 12 business days after post office delivered it.

Thanks Snspring

My mother whom I am sponsoring is an elderly lady, I can hardly find any info regarding her parents date of birth, or her brothers or sisters complete info, is it OK to just fill in as far as my and her knowledge, or this might lead to returning my document back by CIC??

Does anyone who had similar case know??

Ask your mother to use her best guess, there should not be any problem with this.

We had some items we did not know (e.g. birth places of deceased parents of parents etc). We put guesses where relevant (e.g my mom's mom city of birth was likely a certain city but we did not know 100%). For some dates we left blank or put year where known. I did include notes on a separate page for any information that was not exact or where we were not 100% sure of dates or locations etc. (just so that CIC does not consider it 100% correct and then accuses us of lying if somethign does not match)
