If you have GCMS notes, check what it states in the DOB column. If it states exactly what is on the passport, then you need not worry.

You should order GCMS notes and see if DOB is correct, they do correct it via Passport anyways ( they did correct city born etc as per passport in my case )

Irrespective of the rush, CIC would only accept the first 5000 applications as per the new guidelines.

..I meant from CRA purpose, technically Jan 2014 - ppl would have 10, 11, 12 NOA so if they want it preceding that what the date is? but the user there suggest has to include 2013 too

In that case, I would include NOA for 11 and 12. Whereas for 2013, I'd include pay-stubs. Remember, CIC would now focus on income declared to CRA so pay-stubs for the previous year should be good enough.

They sometimes keep passports for more than 9 months before they send visa.
Thatz what I have heard.

I dont think they have any reason to hold passports after decision made. that might be true for cases where ottawa has issued visa and then transfer file to new delhi for visa stamping but not in this case.
