So if the files approved for PR Visa by CPC ottawa are struck at New Delhi CHC for months, can we take any legal assitance ? I have received no response to my mails sent to CHC Delhi, CPP ottawa or to the immigration minister.

I probably replied earlier too, but ya I am in a worse scenario. My parents's passport is lying in ND since Oct 2012. I checked GCMS and it shows visa issued in Ottawa at the start of Oct 2012, then file transferred to ND for issuance of visa, thats where it is stuck. I checked with MP and the guy at MP office says the visa is printed in ND but they delay it for some reason. Still waiting to hear back on reply from ND to the MP's email, its been 3 weeks. They are slow in everything. Just sit tight I guess. My feeling is they will issue it close to the medical expiry.

And yeah one more very important thing. CHC Islamabad called my father in Pakistan on 13th May, 2013 but unfortunately he missed the call. I sent them an email explaining the reason why he could not receive the call but since then we have heard nothing :'( :'(

Can anyone predict what the call was about?

Your file is complete, there is no further processing and there is another user in the same boat as you. It used to be 1 week turnaround time, perhaps they are not delaying to line it up with ND apps - just a thought

Finally got a response from CHC New Delhi informing that a final review is pending by a visa officer. Quite baffled as my understanding was once the case is apporved by CPP ottawa , no futher review is needed.

PTA- There medicals were done back in April 2012 and I think CPP ottawa can extend them by one year. I guess its a game of pateince but quite frankly frustrating. I have had enough from CIC.

What do you think abt this

The guys has a point but then everyone gonna rush in Jan, 2014

Irrespective of the rush, CIC would only accept the first 5000 applications as per the new guidelines.

That is the typical response for CHC-ND for pretty much all inquiries. I wont read too much into it.

That is correct. But if a parent has ever visited Canada, CIC would have issued a UCI number. The UCI number remains same for an individual, irrespective of the type of visa.

i didnt knw tht parents and spounser hav differnt client id.and what is kit id and what is the use of kit id plz tel me

I cant login to CIC Stat check using my parents client ID. I received acknowledgement letter with their client ID back in Oct from LVO ND. At what point in application process I will be able to check application status using their client ID. Is it after they send the medicals?

i am sure you are using your parents date of birth as well but double check the information.

if that doesnt work, use your parents file number instead. one of them should definitely work.

Just out of curiosity: is patti your village?

I just found out that on initial application in 2009 on form 'IMM 1344 E A' my father DOB is off by 4 days. I used that DOB when logging in with my parents client ID and was able to log in to Ecas.

I checked out all the forms that were sent out to Mississauga last year and all of them have right DOB on them.

What should I do? should I contact LVO ND and let them know about it? or not do anything as the forms submitted last year has the right DOB on them?

If the new forms have the right DOB I would not worry about contacting ND, it will just add unnecessary delay.

Did you email CHC ND? how did you get response, I have been sending emails too but no replies. or did you check through MP.
