My medicals says in progress; recently my mother underwent medicals in India, there was no complications in her case. Even I asked the physician here in Canada if there is any concern; according to him there was no complications. I am really worried. There was an email in the month of march 2013 just asking for original death certificate of my father and after two minutes; they tried to recall the email back but couldn,t. So the second email said it was sent in error as they already received the original documents.

After that nothing. Still waiting.

CHC NEW DELHI asked RPRF on April 26, 2013
Medical, PCC and PPR were requested on Feb. 25, 2013
Medical done on March 13, 2013
Pcc and pp sent on april 2, 2013
How much time more to get Visa.
Thanks

Mostly email, but can be letter too ( did you get AOR ) always keep on top of ur file since some of us missed the communication and 1 user even got rejected

Check the timeline ( see sig ) - and you can get some idea but normally its about 7 months + after file xfer, Kandel ( user here ) is still waiting since her file xfer in Sept, 2012 - has dependants but that's not the factor for delay
There is another user who still haven't received but I recommend to order GCMS notes as there is lot can go wrong, like mine for eg went to the wrong email - you can read past posts as it was hell of a time.
Some folks try to get info from MP and are given either a proper or generic response

yeah we inquired and they replied that it is still under process
I'm so frustrated

Is it normal that my e-cas shows nothing but application received.
However every detail is correct regarding home address and stuff.
Is there a problem with cic website or something with the case.
We havn't received meds yet.

to the principal applicant unless they have a representative.

if email id is not filled in then they mail it instead.

Hello Everyone

I applied for my parents in Oct 2009.

Medicals were submitted in Dec 2012. Passports have also been submitted.

Can anyone please tell me how long does it take for the Visas to be issued. Case is in New Delhi

Thanks a lot.

Once file is transferred to LVO, LVO don't communicate with sponsor they are responsible for processing of the sponsored person application. The medical request is sent to an email address only if that was the preferred method of communication indicated when the principal applicant filled up their forms. If email was not the preferred method of communication indicated in the forms then the principal applicant will receive their medical and other communication via mail(post). Hope this answers your questions
