I have been reading this topic for a week or so. I am in same boat. I sponsored parents in oct 2007 and the medicals were done in sept 2012 and passports submitted mid october 2012. For last 2 months status shows decision made and office will contact. Nothing since.

Your timeline is very similer to mine. We r also oct 2007 applicant. Medical and passports sent in nov 2012.
If u getting decision made status. It means u definitely gona get ur pp with visa's in few days I recon . Check with ur post office. Don't ignore and wait more. 2month is a long time already.

mine is still application received.

Its exactly 3 months today since passport and medicals were sent to ND. Ecas still shows Application Received and does not show medicals received. Have ordered for the notes, lets hope for some good news.
Is it possible, that they send the visa directly without updating ecas (just a thought out of frustration)

my case is also same like urs its almost three month sine i hav sent my passports nd medical ... Ecas shows in process and does not show medicals received. but in my case they hav asked for proof medical completion all of us ( we three members) so i hav sent them proof of medical and letter form DMP that medical has been completed on 7 feb 2013 .. no update till now

My parents COPR is already in new format on plain paper 8.5" X 14" (legal size). COPR was issued in first week of January this year.

...The new CoPR form, designated IMM 5688, will automatically print from GCMS with two pages, one labelled ‘CIC Copy' and one labelled ‘Client Copy'. The issuing office will continue to mount a photo of the holder at the indicated place on the CIC Copy...

...The Client Copy does not require a photo of the holder. Once PR status has been granted at the port of entry or inland CIC office, the Client copy will be issued to the client as an historical record.

There were 2 copies. Client copy and CIC copy. CIC copy had photo on it, but Client copy didn't have photo.
