You should be able to apply for super visa for you mother. But not sure whether they will give Visa to dependent. most likely only to your parents. medical can be done in canada for your mother and siblings in home country. once your mother is in canada, you can inform LVO.

I was wondering what is going on with my file as it was transferred in June 2012 with dependent and it was applied in May2008---nothing update received from ND yet.
On the other hand, one of my friend who had applied in Sept 2009 with dependent over 22 at the time of sponsorship application received medical and PP request as his additional document request from Mississauga was after March 30 and case transferred in Sept 2012.
I don't know what to do!!!!! Should I contact MP or do something else to find why ND didn't touch my case yet.

You can try with MP. My MP even minstry inquiry didn't work. Waiting till Sept 2007 and file trasfer Jan2012 to singapore. Singapore says 38 more months to go through MP Inqiuiry, and ministry inquiry says file waiting for Review but don't know when. Note that Singapore is very slow and even 2006 file still waiting there.God knows when will be our turn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats weird because I was under the impression that non-dependents would not have to undertake medicals.

Anyways one last question, you did not have your sister as a dependent on form IMM0008 did you???
