Hi Guys,

just wanted to share something. Today I received GM notes. Just a reminder that my mom got passport request on Nov 15, 2012 requesting passport to be sent to Moscow.

Weeeell, few things that I found interesting on the notes.
1. Visa Office is listed as Seattle (on last notes, it was Moscow). There is note that a client requested to switch to Seattle on Oct 15, 2012. True. I did send them a fax to request to switch to Seattle (in September) as my mom was here. However, they ignored their own notes and still requested passport to be submitted to Moscow. Interesting. This tells me that they are completely bogged down with the number of cases and often mis-place or just miss their own info.

2. As of Nov 11, 2012 (as per the notes) Security check was not being started yet. Again, only 4 days from that date my mom already got a passport request! E-cas said that they started the process on Nov 14! I guess it took them 1 day to do security OR they don't update their database.

Hope this info will help you. Don't get discouraged if the notes show that security not started.

I have seen so many say "not started" and yet reached the last stage, leads me to believe that security check means parents go through the airport xray scan and thats it

Yeah, That's what I understand from the letter. But if you read that carefully, It says ORIGINAL birth certificates, school certificates and/or mark sheets, CERTIFIED copy of old Indian PP of the sponsor. Now from that what I understand is they actually mention in what condition they need the document i.e., ORIGINAL OR SIMPLE OR CERTIFIED. But I will really appreciate if somebody who already send these documents and in process right now guide us. why I am saying IN PROCESS because it means they accept all the documents if I am right.

Hi when I sponsor my parents, they had two dependant children , one over 22 and one under so I sponsor my sis who was under 22 because my other sis finished all her education. But in 2011 she was married even before the sponsorship approval.so now she is no more dependant. So now we didn't include her in imm008. So she doesnt need to undergo any med exam but we have to fill an non accompanied dependant form for the children who were 22 yrs of age or over at the time of sponsorship and are not coming to Canada. So do I have to fill that form because my sis was not married at the time of sponsorship and was adependant but over 22 yrs of age. The form I am talking about comes with letter attached in email.

@Van01: Please do submit that form. Its called Non accompanying Dependent adult form. I did not submit it thinking my sister is married so she is no more dependent, but they requested to send it now, delaying the process.

for us medicals will expire in the beginning of April.......

Same for my mother. I think our parents are from countries with small quota. Maybe the LVO already used it to clear their backlog. I can't see any other reason why people with medicals done in August... are getting the visa ahead of the ones with earlier medicals.

i got medical request from ND LVO TODAY by e mail
file transfer to lvo on 4th april
but i have couple of problems
one they ask all forms IMM008 , SCHD A AND faimly background too well they already have all these forms why they (LVO) ASKING AGAIN
2nd i need link for PCC FORM if anybody can send me please as web site is not working properly
and is there any doctor in AMRITSAR for medical if any body can help me on this pls, what is form number for medical form pls

There is no form for pcc you have to go Spp office to apply.secondly doctor from amritsar are not in an dmp list you have to go either ludhiana or chandigarh

i believe that there is a separate quota for CPP-O so LVO quota should not impact it...
