Some good news to share...Our parents got their passport back today! they won't need to reschedule their flight now. We had email the office last week to request them to get the passport back as soon as possible given our circumstance. we didn't hear anything back and last night sent a follup email and got a reply back this morning telling us that the passports were already couriered out. We called our parents right away and they told us the good news. We are so releve that everything worked out just in time and they will land as plan next Monday. Wish everyone best of luck with their application.

Congrats... Do you know when your parents pass medicals. Meaning, when you saw e-cas update of "Medical Results have been received".

Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your timeline of when you first applied?

For CPP-O guys, I looked at trends in Google spreadheet and found that it'd be fair to estimate that PPR will be received in 4-5 months (max.) after medicals have been passed i.e. Date since e-cas shows 'medical results have been recieved'. There could be some exceptions because of longer time spent on background checks. Therefore, 95% of folks should see PPR within 4-5 months of having e-cas update of 'medical results have been recieved'.

Good news! I receive approval letter to sponsor parents via regular mail today October 17th, no dependents on my file, letter is dated October 12th, file was transfered to Port of Spain which is the LVO for my country, Ecas status shows decision made under sponsor application status and permanent residence status continues to show applicaton recieved.

FYI
Application to Sponsor July 10th 2008.
Request for forms/documents March 30th 2012.
Completed forms/documents sent May 2012
Application complete letter received July 11th, dated July 4th.

My timelines are also very close to yours for the additional document requests and AOR (though I originally applied in Sept 2009).
Do you have any dependants on the file? My parents are in Canada and I am wondering whether after approval the file will be transferred to LVO or Ottawa.
Also, did you provide an email on the file? In your case the status was changed very quickly as it normally takes 2 weeks.

Hello everyone!

I am wondering if you could get status for both parents. I logged in using application number and showed that medical has bern received. Can i take that as both my parents' result bern received?

Thanks
