my question is is it the standard for them to ask the same time the passport and the ordering of their medicals?

Yes. I believe this is common practice at LVO.

hi,

after you requested them to forward all the correspondes in your home country, did they chaneg the address? i also did the same thing. i ask them to forward everyhthing on my home country but im not sure if they will allow it. also im thinking if i need to changed the mailing address in my e-cas. do u think that the good idea. when they sent a ltter for requesting my mom to do medical it takes a month before i recievd it here in canada. thats why im behind like 30 days. and i have 15 days to work on the documents they want . they also ask for thier passport already. please share your experience thank u

Just send you a PM, check your inbox.

I received letter from CIC New Delhi for the PR fees for ,my parents. I have already paid it in 2007. It is so frustrating.

I have send CIC ND the receipt as well. So what should i do now? should i resend the receipt to CIC ND? or do i need to contact Mississauga office. I am not in Canada right now and we have only 20 days left to reply.. any one in same situation...

Hi jkcad as far as i know u need to contact cic missisauga in ur case its even more important than contacting new delhi reason? cuz they are the ones (cic-m) who received your proof (receipt of right of permanent residence fee)... contact mississauga see what they say....i guess they will contact new delhi if not they might ask you to send copy of that receipt to missisauga or nd again.but dont pay fee again

Anytime :)
Is it just your parents or u have dependant as well?
RPRF for one person is $490
and no need to pay for dependants.
So $490+$490 = $980
Why did you pay $1100?

I dont remember why i paid 1100. :( It was back on aug 2007. it is only for my parents. no dependents. I guess i confused with skilled worker permanent residence fees. Will this cause any problem. i dont mind as long as my parents get visa now.. :)

I saw that we can email Mississauga for the RPRF at this link. should i mail the receipt or email them.

Are you sure you paid RPRF? if i am not wrong, you paid 1100 in 2007 when applied for your parents then it might be application processing fees for main applicant and dependent spouse. RPRf for your parents should be 980, not 1100.

we all paid $1100, DO NOT SEND ANY LETTER.
RPRF fee is $490 per person.

You have not paid RPRF fee, send them payment if you want VISA, or wait year fighting for fee which u did not paid.

you paid $75 for sponsorship application + $475 for principal applicant + $550 for family member = $1100
you did not pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee ($490+$490=$980)
you need to pay $980 (you can pay on-line https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en ) and then send a receipt to CPC-M (CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca subject=Payment of RPRF)

Hi everyone,

My parents received their passports earlier today. They did their medicals in December last year but the visa expiry date is October 15th. My mother's passport expires on October 15th. :).

They are planning to land on October 10th.

This will be my last post here. I wish everyone good luck. Consider yourself very lucky as you cannot even sponsor your parents anymore. We were the lucky ones :).
