Hello everyone,

I just wanted to confirm that I still didn't receive any communication regarding the "Decision Made" status showing on my mother's PR application which is at CPP-Ottawa. I guess neither Northclare nor Mockava received something from CPP-Ottawa (or the corresponding embassy), right?

I understand that there were passport requests from CPP-Ottawa sent on behalf of Seattle Consulate in July, but were there any other passport request done recently for people with files at CPP-Ottawa - does someone know of any such cases?

Thanks!

I think we covered that in the previous page - he needs PCC since for all countries he has lives since age of 18. Since he came to UK @ 28, he does need it. Infact, he will get it sooner as he has been in UK for 40 years, I got my parents PCC from Indian Consulate in Vancouver, it took 2 days only

Hello guys

I'm new on this (incredible) forum but old in waiting.

I'm sponsoring my mother and I'm her representative.
LVO= Bucharest, Romania

Timeline:
Sponsorship application: August 2007
Sponsorship approved (Step 1): January 2011 ... so, before the November 2011 turning point
CSQ (Certificat de Selection du Quebec) issued: March 2011
Mom's PR application in LVO: March 2011.. (application including PCC)
Med's request: March 2012
Med's done: late April 2012 (not in Bucharest, but in Canada/ Quebec, during my mom's visit)

E-cas: "Starting working on your case: 23 August 2012" & "Medicals received"

My mom's file carries two #s: a B & 9 digits and a F & 9 digits.

It is not clear for me where her file is treated currently (Ottawa or LVO), given that:
- in March 2012, it was the Canadian Embassy in Bucharest sending me an e-mail requesting the med's to be performed during the next 60 days
- the med's have been however held in Quebec - as I already mentioned- by an authorized MD
- in early August 2012, it was once again the Canadian Embassy in Bucharest sending me an email and inquiring if my mom has a CSQ
-... which I sent next day, via Canada Post

I am under the impression, after reading ~ 50 pages from this topic, that the F means federal..... so Ottawa? Any hints about the processing times here, as Ottawa is not listed per se on the official list of offices?

Also... do you believe that any request for extra med's could occur at this moment?

Thank you and sorry if some of my inquiries have been already addressed

i believe that F means Family...

my guess is that your case is in Bucharest - Ottawa is only a pilot project and some cases were moved there after November 2011 change... all parents' cases before November 2011 were forwarded to LVOs...

i believe that 'Medicals received' means that medical office has finished reviewing the case and it is received by the visa office... so no additional med's...

we receive medical request from ottawa office by e mail.my father contacted doctor in london to book appointment for medical.they say form should be stamped by ottawa office before they book appointment.whwt should we do now.i will call cic today.

you can try to explain to the doctor that now cic is sending forms via e-mail and they do not have a stamp... or you can try to contact another doctor who is familiar with new cic forms...

You will be in the waiting list - no doubt. The key is to not let the process stress you out.
