hello Sanj99 can u tell me why u need to send copy of your Canadian passport to cic ? are u sponsor? as i am sponsor when i first stared sponsorship i was PR as i sent copy of my PR but now i am Canadian citizen as do i need to submit copy of my Canadian passport too ? is it necessary or good idea to do so as it is not asked or required in checklist of additional documents as only for sponsor it has asked c print out for the tax year the submitted original sponsorship

i dont think so... i did not send a copy of my canadian passport... i sent a copy of my PR card when i applied in 2008... i don't think that cic asked for the sponsor's passport in the additional documents request...

i have a question about photo that cic asked in addiontal document
should the photo be digital one or it has to have negative film i mean will cic accept the photo that is taken through digital camera and not the one that has negative or film

i think digital is fine but it has to be taken by professional photographer and be based on all the photo specifications in the guide.

but Jaggudada saw 2 lines with Application Received yesterday, he has dependent and also sent additional document on Jan 26 , so I think we should hear some news soon too.

it depends on which ID you are using... you need to use sponsor's name + birth date if you are using sponsors client ID number... and parent's name + birth date if you are using parents client ID...
