THERE ARE MANY STAGES-
ALU -> FCU-CA Room -> Registry -> FCR-FCU -> SC0XXXX -> FCU-DIS -> FCU-RFV

CA is for Criminal Assessment
FCR means File Check Required (FCR is assigned if there is any doubt on documents. Documents (i.e. travel docs/ certificates etc.) are verified in this stage)
SC0XXXX is the ID of the agent who will do initial review of your file (Example SC01504)
DIS is DecISion making stage and
RFV is Ready For Visa.
FCU could mean Family Class Unit or File Check Unit

so it means they will issue ur visa in a few days. ..I really hope my words are true. ..gud luck

Additional test fr dad on 8 Dec (as he hd bypass surgery in 2009)
Medical received status updated on 27 Dec 2012
Police service record of dad in feb2013
Got interview letter for Dad on 21 Nov 2013
Interview schedule on26feb 2014
Remedical letter on april10 2014
Done remedical on 21 April
Applied gcms note on 28july n gott same on 4sep

But our case went in process one month ago and our address changed from Indian home address to my sister's Canadian home address yesterday.
Will we see decision made first or just visa.

My parent's file has been transferred to New Delhi last week and we have got sponsorship approval letter in mail.

Now question is how much more time we are looking at? I mean time from here to medicals in New Delhi. Its both my parents only, no dependents. Just average time, people who visit this forum frequently, must know this for sure.

Second question, Is there still chance that they can check our income later on during the process? Has anybody been asked income proof after sponsorship approval?

I will really appreciate your replies.

Take a look at my timeline. Sponsorship was approved and file sent to Ottawa on Feb 6, 2014.
Received a request for medical on June 26, 2014.

So in our case, for my mother in law only, it was almost 5 months from sponsorship approval to the request for medicals.

Now I am wondering how long it will be now that they have received the results from medicals. I talked to my MP's office last week and they told me it could be another 2 or 3 years. This doesn't make any sense to me. If it was 2-3 years, why would they request medicals if they would expire well before any visa was issued?
