Same here man, ecas : app rec'd and medical rec'd.
How do we know that those nice people at ND hasn't lost track of our files.
Who do we ask ?
I tried MP enquiry but it was a useless effort.
The Interview is also mentioned in GCMS notes since Feb 2013 but no scheduled date yet.
Medical expired and who knows if & when they are going to ask new medical.Our passports are expiring in June.
I am frustrated, tired of waiting, and looking at the same eCAS status for the past 15 months.
The worst part is I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel yet.

GCMS notes every 15 days to see progress, there is nothing u can really do except write a honest email to ND suggesting your timeline

Interview schedule is really a long process, they delay that and for parents its even slower. Again, order notes and try to write email to ND

Well yes I get it on the 20th.. However there is no one to get it from India to London until the 27th.. But anyways I am going to attach all my emails to the CHC ND when I apply for the UK visa extension saying look they have made me late... But 28days over is allowed in UK ;D

Congrats, just a thought - might as well land in Canada from UK...if u come to India and then go to Canada - some immigration officers can tell that passport was stamped with visa while ur return from UK was after that coz carrying a passport with auth person OUTSIDE India is still a grey area ( that part is actually meant within India )

i sent an enquiry mail to new delhi cic and i got reply from them today that the file is currently awaiting review by visa officer and as soon as review is complete then next steps in processing of file will be determined

does anyone knows what does that mean?

I am already in canada on postgrad work oermit and i am the dependent on the file
My parents passport is already in new delhi since last january and i had to come back after my medicals i brought my passport due to my job
In november i missed one email in which they were asking for my fingerprints within 30 days
As so i have missed that so what would be my best solution pls pls help

Are you even considered a dependent ( unless its part of study )? as you need to be studying only
As for your fingerprints, if you missed that then they either try to contact you or simply leave it ( refuse your app )
Order notes immediately to see whats going on ( see sig on how to order)

I have applied in July 2010 for my parents. They haven't requested 90 days document yet. My question is how long it will take to request for the document in my case.

Another question is after applying in 2010 - do they ever check the income criteria after application in old cases file in 2010 or not? Or do i need to maintain LICO income until my parents sponsorship file gets clear?

B4A: do we import unlimited goods on YYZ airport after arriving to pearson, what exactly means 'duty free', do they charge on over weights?

does unlimited weights & duty free has different meaning,

in what range i put my things in form $(CDN) coz i have lots of Digital equipments like recorders, batteries, lights, 2 dslrs-1 proconsumer vidcam, tripods,2 shotgun microphones, some were above $2000, n laptops which m gonna sell here

even my aunt bought some things which she wants us to courier to her address though now she told my mom to bring with her, thing that she has:
some new utensil,jewellery, some gifts , clothes



we're 3 people that means 6 baggage & 3 carrying bags we have our own clothes n goods too,
