make sure you check all the form dates.. they should be the latest.. if you did miss 5406, there is a possibility you got the form from the wrong place.. so make sure you get that verified. and 5406 asks you to write names in your own language.. I missed that, don't miss.

Did CIC charge on your credit card or did they return your application?

Good News guys, My parents received a call from immigration officer today that their passports are ready.
My parents medical is expiring on 22 JAN so the officer said "either you reach Canada by 22nd or I will be sending the re-medical papers again". Obviously , parents will be reaching here by 22nd now. So happy. It was a loooong wait. finally over this whole waiting game.

Applied - July 2008
Medicals done - dec 2012
Passports sent - Dec 2012
Status changed to in process on Nov 13th, 2013, STATUS IS STILL "IN PROCESS"
Call received - Jan 16th, 2014
