IRCC tries their best to wait until within 1 year of approval so that parents don’t keep on having to repeat and pay for medical request especially when processing can be multiple years. Not having a new valid medical will not stop processing.

Partially depends. IRCC tries to minimize how many medicals applicants have to do during processing period.
Did anyone get medical request?
My applications are from Aug 2, still no news
Applications are processed in strict chronological order so you’ll likely get the request in the next few months.
Same for me application was submitted on Friday Aug 2 2024,
Biometrics done was done 2025 but no update after that
We submitted Application Aug 1st. We received prearrival letter on June 24 , 2026. No medica so far.
What is pre arrival letter for? Showing any milestone in application?
