Hi
Is there anyone whose parents have landed as a PR ?
Can they please share what questions the immigration officer asked them?

stuck in background check since then.. I understand there are some people ahead of me..but anyone in the same boat as me ?

What is status on BC check in mycic. Is it not applicable ?

I was also in the same boat. I met with my MP in March and after a week I was asked to submit the PCC again. Resubmitted the PCC and got Passport request in the first week of May. Currently the passports are with courier company and hopefull by tomorrow morning my parents would receive it. #MississaugaOffice
 
Hello Folks, sorry for the delay in your parents applications. I think they are trying to clear their backlog... I applied for my mother in 2021 and I just received a correspondence to Submit my mom's passport, phototographs, height and eyes color. I am confused as to whether she needs to do biometrics. Can someone advice on this too pls. Thanks

Congratulations to you and your family!

I asked for MP's help for more than one year and MP contacted IRCC many times. However, my parents' case is still in security screening (comprehensive 34) until now.

Do you mean you submit application in 2021? Was your mom's case in security screening? Can you share your timeline?

You must have a nice MP - my MP says unless the average processing time has gone, he won't do anything!

similar situation - medical passed July 2024, PCC Aug 2024 and nothing since then. processing office is vancouver.

Yes, I would say that. I kept getting calls every other week providing me updates on the case and even asking me to provide updates for the 2nd PCC.
