@laxsun @robertp HI Team, As my Parents PR application status changed from Inprocess to Application received, I have been suggesting by group of experts here to not to worry but still nothing has happened.
Is this happened with some one else too.
I am unable to create a web form due to their technical issue.
Please suggest

Medical Passed: July 26, 2021

Also, I have submitted a web form request for a Biometric extension on July 20th and haven't received any response yet.
Please advise if I have to call CIC and ask for an extension as the last day to complete the biometric is tomorrow and the latest appointment I got is Aug 18th.

And ECAS status has changed to a decision made on July 2, 2021, but I haven't received any email regarding approval or visa office. Any idea how long does it take to receive the email ?

Do you check ecas in regular basis?
Check when was the application in process date.
Link the application to myCIC if you have not done yet.

I got a document request - A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature . Does that mean I need to fill it out, then print, sign and scan? or digital signature will work? Does anyone got such request? And Do I need it for both PA and Dependent?

Hello All, our address got changed. The medical request (2nd) received still showing old address. I have filled representative forms for my parents. Do I have to fill the rep form again with new address. I already emailed IRCC couple of times for updating the address.

Application received at Ottawa: June 7 2019
AOR: OCT 11 2019
BIO ,PCC,Travel info Request: Dec 20 2019
First Medical Request: Dec 24 2019
On Jan 8th 2020, they asked to re-do my mother's Medical again.
After that no updates since July 7 2021.

Second Medical Request: July 7th
Medical done: July 22nd
Medical passed: July 29th

Your first medical was never pass as above.
I don't think you have to update new rep for unless IRCC specifically asks.

1. We received ABC's application for permanent residence on June 7, 2019.
2. We sent ABC medical instructions on December 24, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent ABC correspondence on July 7, 2021. If ABC has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have ABC do so as soon as possible. Please wait until ABCreceives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. We sent ABC medical instructions on July 7, 2021. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

First medical was passed (don't know the date) , but expired. Don't know when was DM1, but an email received saying I have met requirement to sponsor was Dec 27 2019.
Last week I linked my CIC account- now it is showing Medical (2nd) passed.

I have a similar timeline as you; I called the CIC Call Centre this morning for very similar questions, as it was already passing the "20-24 months" timeline. The "in process" date most likely was when they started to evaluate the sponsorship eligibility. It has been "in process" for just about a month for me now, and the call centre agent advised me that it would take about two months for me to get the sponsorship approval, but it could get even faster as more CIC employees now are back to work. The agent further addressed that after that, the Sponsorship Approval letter (SA, or Decision Made #1 / DM1) would be sent both electronically and via mail to both us and our parents. After the SA/DM1, the file would then be transferred to each local office. The rest of the process would then start concerning the applicants, i.e. our parents, for their background checks, medical exams, etc. The agent that answered my call today was very friendly and forthcoming, but understandably that he could only reveal what was already there.

Since submitting my application in 2019-6, it went quiet for just more than a year, until the AOR arrived in 2020-9. Ever since then, it has been quiet again, until the recent "in process" notion seen on ECAS. The PGP programme, particularly if parents are currently not in Canada, likely has the lowest priority. There is not much we can do other than waiting for the approvals.

Hi All,
June 17 applicant. File shows in progress, still waiting for Biometrics and medical request!
Asked twice about the file status but got same generic reply back that "We have received the required documents and nothing else is required at this stage. Processing is slow due to COVID."

How many are on the same boat ? Please advise

Don't count on days, it'll drive you nuts. Every case is different.

My mom had her 2nd ME done at the end of April and she received pre-arrival letter and PPR just last week, so almost 3 months apart.

60 days and counting here... not even DM2
