Because of the 6-8 week time frame to get results, did you inform IRCC that medical results are in progress and pending?
I thought that is not needed as they have asked for additional tests. My MIL received email from CIC that she has to contact the physician.

My mother went for further medical examination today to the same panel clinic (in Delhi) where she went the first time. They said the additional test is required due to "abnormality noted on current chest x-ray".

Taking the additional medical test was never an issue, but the process that my mother has to go through at this age is what I would call nothing less than gruesome and torturous.

She showed up at time for her appointment with a chest specialist. The chest specialist spoke to her for less than 2 minutes, charged a good sum of money, then referred her to a CT scan which is not available at the panel hospital. For that, she has to go to another hospital of the panel physician's choice. So she went to the other hospital the same day. There, they did the CT scan which was all clear. With the report in hand, she returned to the panel physician's office. The panel physician said that there is an extra test which is basically requires sputum smears culture for 3 consecutive days. The results of this test are available only after 8 weeks. This test has to be taken again at a hospital of their choice in a different adjoining city (Gurgaon) between the hours of 7:30 am and 8 am only. There is no other way.

So now we have to find a way to make it to the other city early morning for 3 consecutive days and wait for 2 months before we get a report.

What a horrendous inconvenient process. My mother is 70+ and she has to go through this. There is no consideration for her age. There has to be a better way.

I am feeling so disappointed and don't know what to do now.
If they get a good sputum culture I don’t know why they would need 3 samples but this really has to do with where your mother is located and where tests are available. You can’t expect a GP to have a CT scan in their office and TB screening where they grow cultures for 2+ months are not located everywhere. Canada takes trying to limit TB patients from entering Canada very seriously since TB is very limited in the general population in Canada. PGP applicants must pass the medical to make sure they are not an excessive demand on the Canadian system when they land. They were likely looking for cancer in the CT based on an irregularity they saw in the X-ray. A CT is not a typical request so there must be something showing up on the x-ray. It could be the result of previous infections or just an anatomical abnormality. Yes it is annoying to have to make these trips and pay the money but the opportunity for your parents to live in Canada’s and have access to things like healthcare should outweigh any inconvenience. Not sure if you have dealt with the Canadian health system but wait times, showing up at odd hours, having to go to repeat trips in a short period of time, etc. happen in Canada all the time.

It is weird. IRCC says to send by Canada post only (since the private couriers don't deliver to PO box). You should ask to send the passports back to you. Then recheck the address you have written (may be a mistake in postal code?)
Other members who have got passports back can add more info.
@Nav_S @Nav2132 @gifty123 What address did you guys send passports to?
Sent to PO BOX 9780 Ottawa postal code K1G 6T2
Ask Canada post to change the postal code
My passport is delivered to above address yesterday. Today checked online stamping on passport is done

Hi, please help
Biometric request was received Dec 17 and was done Dec 20.
In CIC website, under Application Information- Biometric field, it shows date of biometric enrolment Dec 20, 2019 and expiry date in 2029.
But, under Details about your application status - Biometric field it say "we have not received your fingerprints."
Is some body have similar issue or any guidance?

Don't worry it may take some time to synchronize all the information as they have to do for number of applicants.
