Yes 2nd part is harder so a couple of us are waiting to get the first part done. Especially with aged parents passing medical is critical. I am okay to wait, but just want medicals cleared.
Exactly, my only worry is medical, thank god my parents are healthy now but no one can predict the future, so i will not be relaxed before medicals passed

Hello everyone,i have received email regarding my pgp sponsorship asking for my grand father death certificate.I checked with my parents who are back home(india) and they haven’t registered his death. It happened in 1960 and records were not kept at par at that time.I know some other forum members had similar issue. Can someones give some advice what to send to cic for this issue.TIA

Strange! Why would they need that!
May be just an explanation letter or an affidavit made by your father/mother stating the date of death and explaining that they did not register it at that moment.

May be some senior members can provide more suggestions.

There is no point for them to ask for this

Usually the sponsor part is the easy part where every applicant knows their revenue and their status in canada so this approval should not be the big news, i think the second part is the tougher one where there is medicals and security checks to be passed. Are you doubting your eligbility to sposnor your parent ?

No honestly for me the first part is the hardest as even though I am aware that I'm 100% eligible to sponsor them I'm just concerned for my husbands few different jobs in year 2017 and a reassessment he has. But I'm sure we are eligible and we meet the Lico way more than what's needed.

I'm just gonna be anxious untill I get it
