mine says, SCI SCHUITEBOER, guess that is the same thing.
For everyone's benefit, CIC and number of other Govt agencies have outsourced their logistic operations to this firm called SCI. This has been confirmed by CIC in tweets. SIC is CIC's delivery partner. This may have been discussed previously, and if so, apologies for the repost.

MARTIN / SCHUITEBOER / SCHLIEBNER / ETC. are shift operators. One can almost see their weekly shift trend / roster based on which day the package was delivered. :)

Hi, did anyone's application got received by "S SCHUITEBOER". For some reason mine doesn't say SCI before the name. Anyone else with the same signature?

first time posting. validated all the forms, got parents to sign them - only to realize after shipment that there is a mistake on passport number of main applicant on form imm0008 (an extra 5). What would be the case scenario? I should be able to redo the form, validate again, and attach the last page with my dad's signature? the information in the last page would remain the same

Thanks for your help
Once you validate again, the right bottom number will change According to the barcode. If still have time, I would redo it , otherwise just write a note to explain.

I have submitted my application to sponsor my mom. She is here in Canada at the moment with a Visit Visa, and we extended her stay so she has a valid Visitor Record. She is scheduled to go back home next month - July, so that makes her stay here in Canada almost 10 months. I am not sure if IRCC is ever gonna require her to submit a police clearance since she stayed here for more than 6 months. I am thinking of applying for a police clearance for her here in Canada before she leaves, so we can have it readily available if they request it. Is anyone here on the same boat as me? Any suggestions or insights is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

This is really a good point. My mom is currently staying with us too and will be going home next month. She stayed for 6 months then wen to the US for 2 weeks then came back. However, in the past she did stay here for 10 months straight. My concern is if I get a criminal record check now for her, it might not be valid when this document gets requested in the near future. Does anyone know of the validity of the police check here in Canada?
Per document checklist, police checks should only be made after CIC requests one - as we have no idea when/if they will be requested.
I believe they are only valid for 6 months.

This is what I found at our local police department

How long is a police check valid? Is there an expiry date?

Police records checks are only valid on the day they are issued, since information can change from day to day. They are a 'snapshot in time' only. The police do not determine an expiry date; this is up to the agency/employer. Some might accept a police check that is 3-6 months old, while others may want a new one.

Since a person can be clear of charges or criminal activity today but could be arrested and charged tomorrow, we offer no guarantees on the validity of a police check beyond the actual date on which the search was conducted. As well, not all criminal convictions are reported to the RCMP, and more recent dispositions may not be updated on their system at the time a check is conducted.

In our experience, most employers will ask for a new record check if the current one is beyond 6 months, and almost certainly if it's older than one year. However, this is entirely at the discretion of the agency/employer.

Note that Vulnerable Sector Checks are only valid for the specific employer/position for which it was conducted, and are not likely to be accepted by another VSC sector employer.

Thank you for your reply.

Follow up question...

So if we get the request and my mom is already back home, can we just apply this online?
I know it will be too early for her to apply now, if it is only valid for 6 months.
