Hello Everyone,

Need your help, if you can please help me with these questions. I am sponsoring my mother only.

1.In form imm008, What will i put in question #3 about family members. In my Family it’s me,my wife(married in 2017 Feb),My younger Brother in India(Age 27),Brothers wife.My dad expired in 2010.
2.Based on my family description provided above, Do i add my brother in form imm008
3.In form imm5748. I am not using co-signer. Do i still fill my wife info(she only worked 2 months in 2018 as she came to Canada in March 2018).
4.In Form imm5768. Based on description above(about family). What will i put in question#3.
5.In form imm5768.In question#14 how will i write family size. I was single in 2016. Got married in Feb 2017.

No, because they want to see more than 6 months in one year not cumulative. If she stayed more than 6 months in one year she needs to get police clearance certificates from those countries.
So your answer is no for that question.

What about if stayed in Canada for more than 6 months on previous visits? She is currently in Canada ! Do I have to say no or yes ?

You only need to fill IMM1344 once, to designate one of your parents as principal applicant, and the other one as his/her dependent.

Please help here. I got invitation to appply for parents sponsorship. My mother is on visitor visa and her 6 months is finishing on may 16. Is it okay to apply for her extension? I hope this will not create any issue in her pr process. Please answer

Yes you can do the extension, and you can apply for sponsorship. Its two different processes

Hello gents, I have several questions regarding our application. I will start with few...

My girlfriend is sponsoring her family, I am her co-signer. In one of the forms( IMM1344) there is a question: "In the five years preceding this application, did you become a permanent resident after being sponsored as a spouse, common law or conjugal partner?"

Back in 2014 we applied together for PR(we are in common law), she was with me in the application as her occupation wasn't eligible for PR, so I sponsor her as my common law. We received PR in 2015 and there were no any conditions for her(like conditional PR).
It is my understanding that only if she broke up with me and she have non-canadian partner that she want to sponsor now in 2019 she would be found ineligible, because she was sponsored under 5 year period. But we are eligible because we are applying under parents/grandparents category according to application guide, is that right?
Would I need to write down explanation about that or they would connect the dots as one of the first questions in other form is under which category you are applying.

If you answer “Yes” to any question between 5 and 15

• You are not eligible to be a sponsor. You should not submit an application.
• If you are sponsoring a parent or grandparent, this does not apply to you.
