Hi everyone,

I have called IRCC today morning and they confirmed I have been approved as a sponsor.

Also for those who have already did biometric before, you could submit that through IRCC webform. Apparently their data base is not automatically connected. I just sent that today and I will let you guys know anytime I hear back from them.

I was told that I should wait for medicals and they are doing the background check at the moment. But the background check does not mean PCC request yet

But so far we know they do background check after medical passed

Do you mean background check as the police certificate from the country of origin?

What she meant was different. My parent travelled to Canada many times, and they might still check their own database.

Hello Folks,

I am expecting medical request for my in-laws. Both parents have a knee pain issue. Although there is pain, but they are able to walk without any help like cane or something. Of-course may not able to walk for kilometers like normal people do. They don't feel any need or requirement yet for surgery

Does anyone has any idea if that may have cause any problem for medical. If so then what the path it takes?

Thank you in advance

Hello Folks,

Bumping up my question again, if anyone has/known to similar situation.

Thank you

@Another-Immigrant they should not have problems. IRCC evaluates the situation and they will determine if the medical costs will exceed the threshold value or not which is $20517 CAD for 2019
