You can get an affidavit. Why cant your parents get their marriage certificate?

They are currently in canada on super visa . It might take time to get marriage certificate .

I think I am the "other member" who got a correspondence via snail mail. We got the AOR via letter mail. We moved since we submitted interest to apply.
Try linking using Application number and applicant family name. That's the only combination that works for me.

oh. and SA is sponsor approval.

Umesh1985...when you applied for super visa for your parents...how did you proved their relation...use the same document now

You are not required to create an account on CIC as part of PGP application. So, it’s not really “necessary”, but it helps if you want to upload some documents or check more details status of your application including all the correspondences CIC sent you.

You can find short status info on ECAS using your application number. But, MyCIC/GCKey provides much more details status info. Those accounts are useful later in the application stages. You could provide documents via email or postal services. Those online accounts makes that process much faster and safer.

1. How long will CIC issue invitaion after the draw/EOI is closed?

2. Can you submit PCC along with the document? My mom will be coming to Canada to babysit our newborn before she got her status so by that time her application may yet to be processed.

How much time does it take to receive email after the status has changed to 'Decision Made' for sponsor in ecas ?

I got email on 3rd day after change of status to Decision Made for sponsor

they closed your case pretty fast, not everybody is so lucky, some people are waiting IME more than 7-12 mon

I'm here from 2019 thread. Actually has always been here since 2017.... Never got selected.

This year i was able to submit the form and am in 20 k.


Just had few questions from you guys:

1) How long is the whole process is taking right now? I know website says 24 months but how long is it taking in general especially for ndvo?

2) When you guys initially submitted the file what documents did you needed for mom dad and brother(20)? I was going India in feb so just wanted to bring it back with me. Shall i ask them to do pcc at this point? I assume would be getting invite in feb.

You can create MyCiC account any time you want and you do not need to be your parents' representative to open the account. You certainly can be your parents' representative. Just fill out the "Use of representative" form, appoint yourself as representative and have your parents sign it. Include that form with your application forms.

Once you have that done, you can link your parents' file to your MyCIC account. But, you have to wait until you have application number for your application. You usually get application number when you receive AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt. I hope that helps.
