has anyone received a letter like the one below....any idea what the next steps are and what timelines might be ? Thank you

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded for further processing.
Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), you may contact the visa office via the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) case-specific enquiry web form, fax, or mail as follows:
CPC-Ottawa - CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
If at any time during processing, it is determined that local knowledge is required, the file may be forwarded to the relevant visa office for processing and final decision.
If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you.

I am at this point too.
I received this letter earlier in December, so as of today, I am waiting almost 2 months to get the request for medical and police report.

However, my application was sent to Mexico, instead of Ottawa.

Just curious about something, I was tempting to call that office in Mexico to follow up. But is it advised to be patient and wait to get the email from them instead?

Hi Guys, my workplace denies access to google docs so I can't open it and I am not sure if I am already added to the spreadsheet, if not can someone please add this information:
Also because I cant access the spreadsheet now can someone let me know what will be the next steps from here on and how much time are we looking at for decision made status? Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Coming from 2019 threads, just a quick question for those YOU WERE INVITED IN 2018.
As you may know, this year 27,000 people were able to submit their interest forms on FIFO basis. Everyone was such a hurry, some of us made a small mistakes/typo on the form and worried about possible rejection due to the error on the interest form.

I also tried the lottery last year and i know we had a plenty of time to fill out, so i guess there were a fewer cases like this in 2018 but i would like to know when you did get invited, were you able to review your submission for the interest form?

Hi @YULIA-2016 Today morning I checked my Ecas status and it says 'Decision made' and in cic account the current status is changed to 'Application/profile updated'. But I have not received any email. Please advise what should I do? Thanks in advance.

I again checked now in cic account the current status is again changed back to 'Submitted'. Thats weird !

you need e-case so far so just wait email

Same as yours Decision Made first and after 4days I recieved Email regarding sponsor approval.CiC account as well change toApplication/Updated and back to submitted if you noticed the first part before it was Application in Progress .we will inform youxxxxxxxxx now its We are reviewingxxxxxxx.

I think I got the invitation around 1 - 1. 5 month after I sent my interest of sponsorship, in 2018. To be exact I got the letter in march/21/18

My In-laws Medical was cleared on 17th Sept and I submitted all requested document to IRCC on the webpage on 14th Sep

This is my current status:

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results-You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents- We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

Interview -You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics -We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes

Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision-Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Its been 3 months since I submitted all document but no decision made.

Do you think the LVO (Ottawa) is sleeping or something wrong with my application and that's causing the delay.

I see so many people already got the PPR.

Anybody in same boat????? I am so worried

Is it normal to have Sponsor's status as 'Application Received' while Applicant status is 'In Process'
I was expecting sponsor's status to change first to 'Decision Made' before applicant's status goes to 'In Process'.

1. How long will CIC issue invitaion after the draw/EOI is closed?

2. Can you submit PCC along with the document? My mom will be coming to Canada to babysit our newborn before she got her status so by that time her application may yet to be processed.

2019 process is different from the draw process. It is new and I guess we all have to wait to see how it goes.

Regarding PCC, it has 6 months period before it expires. It doesn't harm to get one earlier and have it handy
