Dear shahzad, tell me bit more about turkish airline. I am looking for Lahore-Istanbul-Toronto route. Don't wanna go from Islamabad.

Dear Canada1234, i went to the Turkish Airlines counter in Islamabad and asked them the fare and route, they said its for 84k ISB-toronto with stop over at Istanbul for 4 hours. i was told that if i purchase the tickets now, i can get some more discount on the fare. My travel consultant quoted 82k for the same flight. (I am planning for Jan or Feb departure depending on visa issuance)

There is a downside however, the Istanbul airport only accepts credit cards or debit cards and cash is not acceptable.

In case someone intends to save some money, there is an option of getting a Standard Chartered PIA co-branded credit card through which one could get 15% discount off the negotiated fare but this is for PIA only.
