Pakistan Spousal Open Work Permit 2016 processing times/ May, June applicants

Hello everyone, I submitted my SOWP paper application in June in VFS Islamabad. Canada visa office hasn't started processing it yet. For paper applications submitted in February, March 2016, the average processing times were 80-90 days, whereas for online applications the average processing times ranged from 100-120 days. Is it slower now? Are the student permit applications received during this time a factor leading to delay in the processing of SOWP applications?

If you submitted your SOWP application in May or June from Pakistan, please reply so we can estimate the time around which the mid June applications will start processing.

I applied for SOWP online on June 09th but haven't got any response yet. Its my second time.

They usually inform in three months, I got the refusal in exactly 3 months and some of my friends also got the response in 3 months.

Any idea if its the same for paper applications? Does your spouse reside in Pakistan?

I think wther paper or online, they take atleast 3 months to review the application and further process for refusal medical etc. Yes my spouse in Pak

Hello Guys,
i applied my study permit extension and spouse open work permit application together, now my study permit is approved but there is no response for SPOW. i see the processing time of SPOW from pakistan is 24 weeks but my main question is "SPOW time is counted from the day when i applied both SP and SPOW or it start from the day when my study permit was approved ?".
