Pakistan HEC Sealed Envelop Procedure

For all my pakistani friends, this is just for your information that HEC attestation is only valid for 6 months.
if you've done so in 2009 then again you've to get it attested. I know, becuase i had this problem when i applied for UAE business VISA and they told me that HEC attestatation is only valid for 6 months and i had to attest it again.

I myself did HEC attestation and sent my docs to WES. I already got ECA report from WES. At no point they asked me to send university attested docs. I just got my docs attested from HEC in a sealed envelope and sent that to WES.

I have heard that many people from less popular universities are facing issues from WES like WES are asking them to send university sealed docs etc. but if u look at the WES requirement for pak, they only require HEC attested docs.

Regarding ur docs attested in 2009, so better get new attestation when u already have to visit HEC for getting docs in sealed envelope. MAKE SURE THAT HEC UPDATE UR STATUS AT DAS.HEC SITE (WHERE U FILLED ONLINE APPLICATION). If they dont then WES wont accept ur docs. This has happened with my spouse. HEC attested the docs but didnt updated status at their website. We had to contact HEC again for this issue

Hello All,

I am from Pakistan but currently living in Saudi Arabia.
I need to send my HEC attested degrees and transcript to WES in HEC sealed envelop. I already have my degrees attested from HEC now I am unable to figure out what to do for getting my degrees sealed in HEC envelop.
Can I put it myself in the plain envelop, sign across the seal and send it to WES, as degrees and transcripts are already verified by HEC?

Anybody from Pakistan could help.

dear, it is clearly mentioned on the website of WES documents required from PAKISTAN details. it says that HEC shall provide u the seal envelope signed across the flap. returned it to you by HEC.

For this, you've to or somebody from your side need to visit HEC and get the degree photo copies attested again and ask them to put it in to envelope and seal it.

there is a department in HEC which is called R&I they will seal your documents. hardly it will take 5 minutes for sealing the envelope for you.

I a waiting for my education documents to be received back from HEC. I had given my education documents for HEC attestation through OCS a month back but I forgot to ask the OCS guys to get the attested documents sealed in HEC envelop. Please tell me what can I do now? I am in Karachi

Wrong. My degrees were attested in 2010. HEC accepted them when I went there to get them sealed & WES accepted and evaluated the same!

and as jigzy said it's wrong, yest of course the validity period thing is completely wrong. i did attest my documents in 2011 and then in may i went for copies and send it to WES no new attestation.

this is absolutely correct. There is no limit attached to HEC dox attestation. I did in Mar 2010 and in Apr 2013 used the same attested copies to place in the sealed envelope.
