pakistan asylum seeker actually in Italy

Good morning, I'm trying to help a pakistan man actually in Italy waiting for the examination of the application for protection.
He explane to me that there is a program of the Canadian government that takes care of withdrawing the families of asylum seekers from their country and the asylum seeker from Italy to take them to Canada, is that true? if yes, what should we do?

I'm sure there was a poster a while ago with the same issue. If he is in Italy, he will find it extremely difficult or impossible to get an asylum request granted. Firstly why does he want to claim asylum? Italy is considered a very safe European country.

Think you are talking about resettlement in Canada through UNHCR. Given that the person is already in a safe country asking for asylum it would be almost impossible to get asylum in Canada. Given his asylum request the individual would not be able to get a trv.
