How should I pack everything up. I searched up on past threads on how others have packed and I saw a lot of -seperated into 3 packages. 1 for Sponsor application forms with T4, Option C, etc....1 for Principal applicant with forms and support evidence.. and 1 for photos.

Can you guys share your ideas on how you might have packed everything? Like what size envelope, which documents to put together, how to label them?

I just kept mine as simple as possible. I used the checklists as the table of contents and put it in a basic file folder. Not an envelope they would have to pull things out of. I put all our info very clearly on the front of the folder.

I also used a plain file folder for the evidence and wrote the corresponding number from the checklist on the front, along with our info again. I did make my own very simple table of contents for our evidence.

I was told by my mother in law who's done lots of clerical work for lawyers and government officers not to do anything fancy with colored tabs and confusing tables of contents and what not. They don't expect it and it can oftentimes annoy and aggravate them. Just keep it simple and organized.

I don't know for sure if I did it right. I wanted to keep my part and his separate so I put all mine and the proofs in a big file folder, labeled, with his on top of it. I have NO idea what CPC-M is going to do with it before they send it to Buffalo. His part contained all the forms required, as did mine (which means I added 2 copies of our marriage certificate), so unless CPC-M needs further proof of our relationship, they shouldn't even need to get into the folder. Who knows.

I did a table of contents and cover pages for each section, listed in order of the document checklist. It's very well organized if I do say so myself :D but not overdone with colored tabs and stuff.

I did 3 different file folders with big writing on the front....

My name

His name

Evidence

ours went thru smoothly...we did not want to add any more confusion to the officers in Buffalo who seemed to be too confused to begin with and can't even figure out the order of the months of the year.... :p

I actually had each page in separate page protectors, but then somebody told me that they don't like that because they will have to remove it all.

How about pictures and all supporting documents?
