Seems doubtful that there would be this many applications stuck, status was probably just not updated, really hoping that is true.

I hope that's the issue.
I've called now a couple of times and have been told the same thing as everyone here..
"We have everything we need."
"They're just waiting to transfer your application" (one time was even told it's in the back office which is some kind of transfer room?)
"You're eligibility has been started in Mississauga."

It's all the same stuff they say. They have no clue what's going on..
Hopefully GCMS notes bring light to this situation.

Totally agree, I don't think the people working at the call center know what's going on.

July 4th or 5th?
I'm the PA, but I did it under my spouse since he was right next to me and a canadian citizen and it's free and what not... put my email though. hopefully that's not an issue..
Haven't gotten anything since.

Not something I specifically asked (though I should have), but the person kept talking about how all the applications are unique, etc. I really don't think the call center people know much about the process or can even see many details about the applications.

Hi , am Feb applicant. My ECAS status shows " APPLICATION RECEVIED '' from last three months . Had a word with the agent yesterday and as per him the application is still in Mississauga and is in progress. No need to worry. He also mentioned that immigration can decide to keep the file with them even till the end of processing time and not necessary that they will transfer it to local VO. That's what they say , don't know how true is this.

No Idea. Nice to see more and more people are coming here because they're stuck though. Seems as though it isn't just a one off.
I've read on here in the past that Mississauga processes applications when Ottawa is back logged.

I know my wife and at least one other have been transferred back to Mississauga. Or at least had an electronic file sent back to Mississauga

Hmm ok, so now that we finally got the SA last week, the email said my wife would get a request for Schedule A within 5 business days, but it's been 5 business days and she still hasn't gotten it. *sigh* I wish these guys would actually follow up on what they say they will do and not leave us hanging all the time.

That happened to us and seems to happen to alot of people so we just mailed ours.

Hmm ok well I gave them a call, and the person on the phone said that they can confirm they haven't sent her the email yet and that they are having delays. Also that we should use the webform instead of on gckey because apparently there are less issues with using the webform apparently.

We're going to just submit it through the webform tonight anyway even if we don't have the email. Might as well.

My wife contacted to MP and he contacted to Mississauga Office, he said my wife is completely ok and everything I have provided them, they have received and nothing is required now and its been 3 months my file has not been transferred to LVO because of overload of application, but it will be transferred to LVO soon.

Just FYI (hope thats not the case with you)

I got an SA email on 26th May, I only received medical request which i updated... i never got SA & PCC request for a month and it says 5 business days.. i have sent voluntarily courier on 2nd June... and i have no news from than onwards....

Same with me. File received on 19th april...then shedule A and medical on 24th may..after that no mail nothing on ecas.

I dont understand why they keep holding our files and applicants from april may got their DMs and passport requests!!! Our timeline:
31st January: file received.
Got email on 2nd march of sponsor approval and file transferring but after that no updates and aftr tht when i called them i mean to CIC they said file is still in mississauga.. no medical request even. Its going to be 6 months by end of this week. Soo frustrating
