Hello guys, I am in the same situation. I came here on B1/B2 and was admitted for 6 months but I overstayed and got work permit which is still valid but my wife's permit renewal was denied(she is out of status). Our B1/B2 expired last December, can we still apply for PR in Canada?
Do we qualify for the 1 year legal status in the US?

I'm not sure I understand your question. However you need to be 100% honest about everything in your application.

Yes, we got the work permit legitimately through an immigration attorney.
