Send everything photocopy. Only original document you need to send them is the Police Certificate.

Question for those who brought their spouse back:

-Which country can you transit through without needing a visa? Hong Kong, Seoul, Narita, Beijing, Shanghai are my options

You do not require visas for those country since you would be transferring, not actually entering that country.

For those who interviewed in November, how did your interviews go? When I was there, 2 ladies appeared to be rejected (sad face/close to tears). For some reason they interviewed me first and my wife second. Then I was asked to come in a 3rd time. My interview was like 45 mins and my wife was 20-30 mins. What the heck. She said we had a few discrepancies and that it would take 5-6 weeks for a decision.

My wife and I reviewed the questions and for the most part we answered very similarly. Did miss some gifts when asked what gift I got our daughter, but my wife remembered I got a watch the 1st time. She forgot about the video games. The interview made you feel very rushed, and after 3 years you cannot remember every single detail instantly.

Hi Dragoon,

if everything went well this week or next week max (2 weeks after interview date) you should get an email about re-medical.

The status will only change to "In Process" once they received the medical results. Until then, it will still show "Application Received".

Finger cross that you recieved this email ;)

Thanks! Just booked our tickets, 6 weeks from now. Transiting through ICN, have already taken her to HKG and I find the NRT airport boring relatively. ;D
