How do see who sent you the notice? Who is the other clerk than JT?

The email subject will look like this

Are u being processed in Ottawa? What is the date of your ceremony and the email address you received this from?

Never heard of an MG in ottawa but yea thats the clerk's initials

Announcement doesnt translate into actions. Political ploy in the wake of truckers protests. IRCC are federal workers and Ford's actions or lack of thereof has no bearing on them.

They had excuse to not work onsite for 3 weeks due to truckers blockage of downtown. I dont think we had any progress, specially the paper based applications .
If truckers go away and streets are clear maybe it give us some hope

Make sure you ask for urgent processing.. And provide evidence if you can arrange. You will have a Q&A session at the end of the ceremony where you can ask questions. Maybe you can ask a question like "how to reach out to you guys if my certificate is delayed beyond the normal timeline, you guys never reply to emails sent to Ottawa office generic email" and see he/she says.. See if you can manage to get a phone number of the office that you can call.

Make no mistake, once your oath zoom call is over, there is absolutely ZERO ways to contact Ottawa office afterwards.

Agree.. They don't give a damn about Ford or whoever. They used COVID excuse for 2 years, then Afghanistan excuse for 6 months (still ongoing), trucker's excuse will continue as long as there is a truck on their street making them feel unsafe to go to work.

Man, I will learn French and apply for a federal job. Either I will bring a good change and get my team to actually do "work", or I will become like one of them and enjoy life

I live in Ottawa, my address is in Ottawa , since the ceremony was virtual how would you know where was it but since this was done bilingually and the MG guy was very fluent French speaker, I am guessing this is Ottawa. My Oath ceremony was on 10th December 10.00 am.

Took the test on February 10th and the status updated to Completed yesterday.
