OSC Ottawa Office Thread – Non-Express Entry PR

Hi everyone,

I applied through the non-Express Entry stream on December 17, 2024.

I received my AOR on October 30, 2025, but I haven’t received a PAL or medical request yet. It’s been six months with complete silence.

I called IRCC, and from October 30 to January 28, 2025, my PVO was Sydney and my SVO was Etobicoke. On January 28, 2025 the SVO changed to OSC Ottawa. Honestly, I couldn’t find much information online about this office, so I’m creating this thread to share updates and see if anyone else has had their file processed there and how fast it was.

Well finally, after 284 days, I heard something about my application! I got my PAL lol.

For now, this is how it looks:

AR: December 17, 2024
AOR: October 30, 2025
PAL: August 11, 2026
Medical Request: August 13, 2026
Medical Completed: August 14, 2026

I'll keep updating my case, maybe in the future someone will be able to see it and it'll help them out to not stress about all this.

Hi, thanks for sharing your timeline. It’s understandable to be concerned after receiving AOR and then having no updates for several months. Hopefully others whose files were transferred to OSC Ottawa can share their timelines, especially regarding PAL and medical requests. Please keep us updated if you receive any movement on your application.
