options for permanent residency after doing Masters in Canada

Hey guys, I am currently doing a 1.5 years of Masters from Ontario and really want someone to guide me how can I get PR.
I dont have any work experience as I came for Masters directly after finishing my unidergrad and my field of study is finance.
Is it important to get a job in Canada to apply for PR?
