Hi Guys,

I just have a quick question. I just completed my Graduation from Canadian university (uOttawa) and i have my open work permit with me. So is there any way i could file a open work permit for my spouse too? She is in Pakistan right now. if yes than what is the procedure. if "no" what is the other quickest way apart from PNP and applying for PR?

Thanks

She would not be entitled to an OWP since your work permit is open and not limited to jobs in the A, B or O category.

that is incorrect. nowhere it is stated that work permit should not be open. i received my 'spousal worek pemit' just last year, while my spouse had open WP.
