I just wondering if there is any restriction "Not to have further studies" in OOPNP the same as Master Graduate stream?
intention for further studies in Ontario (on study permit) could be a tie for staying in Ontario?

Hello all
I have two questions regarding this program
1. Is Canadian education mandatory for this program
2. I work in NOC 2131 &2151 both regulated. Also it is impossible to get license from outside Canada because of Canadian experience & professional exams. So I am certainly not eligible under this guideline.
Anyone in a similar situation
Thanks and good luck

Fellow Mates,

Is this open for candidates outside of Canada who never had Ontario expreience nor education (for that matter Canadian experience nor ediucation)

Yes. Provided the candidate has CRS score above 400, have ECA done for Bachelors/Masters degree from outside Canada and their EE profile created after 1st June.

Hope that helps.

How do they choose among people who have scores higher than 400?
My question is does 480 score has higher chance than 401?

They haven't published the relative weight of parameters that they use to shortlist applicants but I'm guessing a higher CRS score will ensure a higher chance of getting an invitation.

I am confused too .

on one side this seems a decent option but disadvantages will be :

u hv to pay $1500 + PR fee separate
show funds as per grid even if u apply under CEC
and no guarantee of invitation

What makes it more confusing is that I think there are more than 2700 candidates having more than 400 scores. I think most of them have at least Bachelors! Now the question is have they invited all 2700 available spaces last week? If not, why?! I have read someone with score of 407 has been invited. What does it mean?!

Hi,
I have no Canadian education, nor Canadian work experience.
Nevertheless I have a Junior permit from oiq (ordre des ingénieurs du Quebec) NOC 2131.
I have no permit from PEO (professional Engineers Ontario).
I am francophone.
Do you think OOPNP (that I received through MyCIC a few days ago) worth ?

Thanks
