OOPNP and Express Entry

I would like to know if i apply under OOPNP, what will happen to my application under express entry. will my profile still be in EE list or i will be taken off the list till my application for OOPNP is processed.

as per them yes you will not be considered for regular draws until OOPNP decision is finalized.

As you are giving your EE file number and job seeker code in OOPNP application form itself.

Also one thing I noticed I am not having any foreign experience, just Canadian experience so I am eligible for CEC but after recreating profile for OOPNP, they show that I am eligible for both FSW and CEC criteria met. So anyone noticed this change?

Please let me know and I have 0 years experience for FSW so should I report this to CIC and if Yes then how to report it?

Your profile will get locked only after you get nominated, accept the same and get 600 points credited to your CRS score. Till then, you have a choice to,

1. Not apply to OOPNP at all

2. Apply and get invited but reject the invitation.

3. Apply and get invited but let the invitation naturally lapse after 45 days.

4. Apply, get invited, accept the invite, submit documentation, pay the fees and withdraw the invitation before you are nominated. (You will lose 1500 CAD non-refundable fee)

Under all the above scenarios, you remain eligible for ITAs in the usual scheme of things.
