do we have to provide any reference letter from previous employers for OINP ? btw in my EE profile i have provided only Canadian exp and i am just collecting docs now.

I got the invitation from Ontario and I send my document through CanadaPost from within Canada on 30th DEC and they were delivered on 31st DEC. The office of "Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program" is in Toronto at University Avenue but the online tracking is showing "Delivered - Received by <this person> and delivered in Mississauga". Something went wrong? Why it is showing Mississauga and why not Toronto? Also usually how long they take to send the acknowledgment of receiving the documents?

Nothing to worry. Mine was sent from outside Canada and was delivered to Mississauga on 31-Dec. (OINP folks might have instructed Canada Post to deliver the mails directly to their processing Centre at Mississauga ...just my guess)

Also, going by current trend, AOR's are sent after 60days/2months of delivery date.

lets hope they hurry up in the new year. There are few who cant wait so much. 4 months for ON than CIC take 7 months and than IELTS expire. ridiculous

Thanks mate!

Hi,

I dropped an email to Ontario @ ontarionominee@ontario.ca to get the status and they asked me for my OINP file number

Please someone tell me, where can I find my OINP file number?

Thank you.

what if the IELTS expires in between the application process of express entry? If we had submitted the docs and IELTS expires in between, do we need to appear for test again?

Unless they send you an AOR, you will not know your file number.

When submitting your post-ITA e-APR, your IELTS should be valid. It doesn't matter if it expires *after* you submit the application. If it expires before you could submit the application, then yes, you need to take the test again!

They have received my mailed documents on 23rd Sept (as per the courier company) but as of today I did not get any ack. Also, as per bank records the DD was encashed on 8th Dec 2015. But again no communication from Ontario Authorities.

I am not sure what should I do next.

This is very strange. If the DD is cashed, then it means they have deemed your application complete. You might have missed the mail or they might have missed to send it. Please drop a mail to them and ask them about the status of your application.

No. Once you have submitted your application (e-APR), you need not worry.

Correct - I did the same, dropped an email but I got a response saying that I need to provide the OINP File Number.
I did not receive any mail or call from them in these 4 months. Now, I am not sure where do I get this FILE NUMBER from.

Hi Raj ,

Its 2 months and 15 since your application is received by OONP , did you received any response from them ?

as per my understanding most of the applications would have been processed for 2015 and by now processing time should decrease as they would have less applications to process .

Please share your thoughts on this .

Not yet. From the recent developments, they have issued AORs to late October applicants in the past week (and yesterday). Fingers crossed, I'm expecting AOR soon.

Well, AORs is one thing - The actual "processing" of your application begins after that. I was expecting a nomination by the end of Feb but it looks like it might get delayed a little. I'm getting ahead of myself now - The only concern now is getting an AOR.

I see you have submitted your application on Nov 25. Good luck to you too!
