I am so worry. We started our life here with difficulties. After 2 year of trying everything's goanna be well and our life started to grow. What is CIC going to do with our lives?My child at school for 2 years here and I left everything back home to come here. I feel unstable and worried.
Are they going to ruin everything?

Same here Nio , I have 2 kids in school .. My husband and I worked so hard to establish a new life here in Canada and we are both working ,, but we feel like a feather in the wind , and the weird thing is that we are not getting any feed back positive/negative ..they are processing applications with a very cold blood.. as we are toys not human beings

EVEN WORST....WE STILL DONT KNOW WILL WE BE PR GRANTED OR NOT,AFTER LONG JOURNEY......EVEN GONE THROUGH MEDS AND PAID RPRF....

Ok folks - here's an update from my end... and do believe when we say 'be patient' - as that's the only thing you can do now...

but before I give update here's the background...

* 2006 applicant (yes you read it right... 2006)
* FSW --> Backlog --> PNP
* took OWP and came in Nov-2013
* got QA email / and then subsequent phone chat where I answered all the questions
* submitted additional docs
* waiting since August ...
* Ordered GCMS in April - got in May - It did not clear any confusion in terms of why they were taking so long - and part of GCMS was redacted - so couldn't see what they were thinking or doing.
* Also sent CSI - and waited patiently for 30 days before I got email in June-2015 asking for
*** Additional forms to be filled - again !!!(about 6 of them)
*** re-medical (as my medical has expired long time ago)
*** personal information (like hight, passport number, eye color etc.)
*** Updated Police certificate (since Feb-2013)

and the most surprising one ...

*** Proof of funds (I am already in Canada now for last 18 months - what kind of proof do they want now that I will be able to settle... I am ALREADY settled anyways, I sent it whatever I could

So I got my medical done quickly - and the results were submitted last week - today I got another email _encouraging_ me to attend the CIIP sessions. Now these sessions are for the people who are OUTSIDE canada - and not for the ones who are already here.

I am beginning to wonder how much longer will it take for them to realize that I am already here and need not to attend CIIP session, and also that its useless to ask for proof of funds when the candidate has already spent 18 months in canada trying his best to settle in ...

damn... I love this immigration process....

i received email a day before yesterday and asked following documents once again.

* New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant

* New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for you and your spouse. This form must be fully complete. Each month must be accounted for and listed.

* New Schedule 4 Provincial Nominee form

* New Additional Family Information form IMM5406 for you and your spouse

* New IMM5562 (Your Travels) form


* Updated original police certificates for you and your spouse from each country that you or your spouse have lived in for 6 months or more since July, 2014


this is 3rd or 4th time i am being asked for these documents!!!

any comments from you people? please

Something is not clear in this post ..... they can not simply cancel the nomination certificate when they can refuse you for any reason ...

Did you miss any deadlines in the long process ? or were you really nominated with Ontario Opportunities Stream ....

There are around 29,000 applications were cancelled only 600 were picked up in certain NoCs .... The rest are gone ... I have a friend applied with me in 2006 and got cancelled and immigrated to Australia as Canada was so difficult >>>>

Please write more information so we can help you .... if there was any injustice in the process, you can always go to a lawyer and file a case against CIC ...

Hi Hadeel- Do not lose faith, it is just a stressful long process and it will continue for the next 7 years to become a citizen ....
It reminds me of Harry Potter Movie when they want to get rid of the Muggle Born as they were not a PURE BLOOD ...

My passports are in ADVO for more than 2 weeks, what is going on ? I have no clue ... Relax, you are in Canada Already ... we are still here ...

It is so frastrating situation ..I am really tired of waiting ..since 2006 till now ..that is too much ..I contacted the person who called me as part of QA process ..I asked him why my PR is still on hold for QA verification since September 2014 and he replied that he can not give any informatio ..now my work permit will expire next november ..I want to apply for renewal since now as it might take about 5 months..can anybody please provide information about how to renew my work permit ?thanks
