Ontario Express Entry - Received PT Notification of Interest from Ontario

Dear Friends,

Recently, I created my EE profile (14th Sept) with CRS 433,


1) Generally, how long it will take to get PT notification from Ontario &

It purely depends on Ontario Govt, if your profile matches their criteria you will get an invite

2)How long they will take to finalise it? From Experience till now?

To get AOR, it takes 60 to 90 days and after that it takes another 1 month for nomination

3) Does 2700 EE SINP Quota finished ?

NO, if it finishes, they will process in next year quota

4) I read somewhere, they will invite a lot people > CRS 400 and keep processing FIFO! Is it True?

5) If we accept OINP, will CIC keep continue to consider in Lottery or Not?

If we accept OINP, you will processed under PNP program . If its just PT, then u will still be in lottery

I have got a similar situation. I made my EE profile last month and got pt notification of interest from Ontario last week. But the problem is I have 3-years Advance Diploma not a Bachelor's Degree.

Am I still Eligible?

wait, we all are waiting here with more points. they select certain NOC and me to have 4251. so may be we wont get PT from Ontario. i am having 438

It depends, remember, the PT invitation is issued after Ontario manually scans through profiles issued in the EE pool. I got mine a day after my profile was entered into the EE pool- but with that said, as of right now, it appears that the program is severely backlogged- for instance, Ontario received my application on July 20, but now, more than 60 days later, I still have not received even my AOR, which is theoretically issued as soon as the application is received.
It may be that they are too swamped to be able to issue new invitations in a timely manner. It may also be that they are out of PT invites to send (they had 4000 total for this year, for the EE pool). Finally, it may also mean that they have already gone through your profile, and have decided against issuing you an invite.
My advice? Just hold on tight, chances are they are just stupidly backlogged, and that they will get around to issuing new invites sooner rather than later.

I'm in big dielmma. In OOPNP application, they have asked us to write our ties to ontario and state our intentions in form of a letter/essay that we want to reside in Ontario if we get PR and we will now leave Ontario.

Has someone writen this letter/essay ... ?

If YES, can he/she please upload a sample of this letter/essay for other OOPNP applocants like me ?

If you have no ties, you don't need to write any essay. Just write an N/A and move on, I think they will appreciate honesty in this case far more than you wasting their time with a fluff piece, simply because the question explicitly asks about existing ties to Ontario.

I entered the EE pool last week on 14 sep,2015.....my CRS is 447.....missed the 17th draw by 3 pts.!!.......Just received notification of interest from ontario in my cic today.....m not sure whether is should go ahead with filing for OOPNP or shall i wait for next draws....given the trend i am hoping scores will come down in upcoming draws. Plz advice guys.....

NO that is after u get nomination... ryt now u dnt have a nomination thts just an interest..within 90 days u shall get a revert from Ontario Govt if u have been selected to get nomination or not...one u get nomination and u accept it then u will not be considered for these EE FSW draws. Right now its not an issue

You have mentioned above that if somebody gets nomination from Ontario, then that person would not be considered in the subsequent draws....but if that is the case then how will the person recieve final ITA from CIC as that is something which can only happen if somebody gets selected from cic draw.

However I have only got 10 months experience in the past 5 years in Skill Level NOC B, but I have already covered 1560 hours of full time work in these 10 months. Am I eligible to apply for OINP ? No. YOu need a minimum of 1 year continuous experience to apply for OINP.

Has anyone already received an ITA from Ontario PNP?

They sent back our application for incompleteness :-[ and asked us to resend it. We have sent it back the very next day and are hoping it doesn't impact our chances.

The worst part is a fresh 90-day waiting period from the day the application was resent. So, we'll have to wait till the 2nd week of Dec to even request an update from Ontario

SO now PT receivers have to choose whether to accet it and apply for the OOPNP, OR, continue to wait in the EE pool and pray for the draws...

We can't expect Ontario OVs and Federal OVs to work for you at the same time.

I am assuming EE points might drop below 450 towards the end of the year, hence might save me the $1500 OOPNP fee. However, do I stand a chance to receive another PT again in the future if I decide to ignore the current one I have received, or will I have to re-create my EE profile to stand the chance of getting another PT when I am much more ready?
