Hi guys,
Is it still possible to get the application package returned to me via the mail after already receiving AOR from Ontario? Or the AOR means the application was verified and everything is ok,no need to reject it?

AOR means they've accepted the application as complete for further processing.
In case of rejection after AOR (meaning they deem the application unqualified), I don't think they will return documents unless you ask.
Only incomplete applications are automatically returned.

I have submitted the application for OINP and i have sent all the original affidavits along with the application. So if while sending application to CIC, i can send the scanned copies of the affidavits and if they request to see the originals what explanation i have to give it to them?

ok so i sent my full document package to Ontario and was received on 7th of January 2016 according to DHL receipt acknowledgment. but still so far i did not receive any information whether they looked at my package or the cashed the bank draft of $1500.

please guide me and tell me this is normal.

You need to take a chill pill. Please do not expect to hear anything till March second/third week. It takes 8 - 10 weeks to get an AOR for FSW applicants. You are in the queue and you need to wait .

The only time when you will have to take all your original documents is when you are called for an interview. This is very unlikely to happen. To be safe, have another set of affidavits made OR if you want to go ahead with it, you can just submit the scanned copies of the originals. Your choice. Good luck!

I have a query. I had submitted my SINP EE application in Nov. 2015 and my application was decided to be ineligible as in the proof of funds I had demonstrated the statement of a joint bank account with my parents. SINP requires the bank account to be in the name of principal applicant only.

Now I am in the process of preparing my OINP application. In the nominee application form, there is a question "Have you already submitted or been included in an application under a Provincial Nominee Program to another province or territory?"

Should I answer "Yes" to this question? SINP application was submitted with a different EE profile number and job seeker code, whereas I recreated a new EE profile to receive the PT notification from OINP.

Can we show PF(Provident Fund) as a proof of funds because I have 1,00,000 in my PF account & 30,000 in wife PF account.
Apart from these I have 2 fresh FD, one with Rs 6,00,000(Joint Name) & second with Rs2,00,00(Principal Applicant Name) & rest of the fund with PF.
Following is the details of funds for 3 members(Required funds is $18,671)

1. FD(1st) = Rs 6,00,000
2. FD(2nd) = Rs 2,00,000
3. PF(me) = Rs 1,00,000
4. PF (wife) = Rs 30,000

TOTAL - Rs 9,30,00/-(CAD=$19787 with conv. rate@Rs47)

1) It is always better to have funds in the PA's name to avoid any confusion. If you do have funds in the name of spouse, get an affidavit from him/her that says you have unrestricted access to those funds.

2) I am not sure if PF is accepted by Ontario. Use it at your own risk. EPF is accepted by NDVO, however. (I got this confirmation directly from them).

Hi all. First time poster here but I've been lurking for a while now. The site is a great resource.

I have a query about work experience.

I am applying under CEC. I have over a year of Canadian work experience.

However, I have been self employed for the last couple of months. If I include that in the "Personal and Work History" section, do I need to provide proof of this employment? Even if it contributes no points to my application?

Even though you qualify for CEC you still need to show funds ? i am also planning to apply for OINP and i leave in AB.

I live in AB and I sent the proof of funds.

Unless you are working in Ontario, you have to show funds.
