Hi

my wife appeared in citizenship test in October but unfortunatiliy she didn't pass so she has to appear again and she submitted her finger prints in December 2015

last week we checked her online status which shows citizenship officer sent her a letter but we didn't get any letter yet.

do u think its a test retake invitation? or it is a finger print acknowledgment letter?

please seniors advice me we r little worried what is in the letter?

if we didn't receive it what should we do phone operator usually did not say anything.

Hi
I really don't like the fact that sometimes Canada post is not reliable and the Immigration is still using it with just regular letters witch contain such important information.
This letter could be anything and if Canada post have lost a letter you should call them and tell them that the mail was lost.
At least you are lucky that the e-cas was updated on time , because some agents don't bother to update it.

Follow it up with them. I will tell you how I met with almost a horror situation.

my oath invitation letter was not sealed when i received it.

She would definitely get a letter to re-appear for the test, but the letter could be anything.
You should call CIC (1 888 242 2100) if its been a while to check back with them informing that you have not yet received the letter and they would definitely help you, there are few who like to follow straight forward rules but there are few officers who are very helpful and cooperative and do whats best for us.
