Online citizenship test completed, waiting for next steps

I got a call from IRCC officer to schedule test on Ms Teams. They even called again 5mins before the test appointment to ask if I will be joining the Ms Teams to attend the meeting for my test. I’m in Toronto and it was a regular 416 area code. I was also given email their contact information for emergency if disconnected. I have seen in other forums others have started are receiving calls over the past week. I highly suggest to others do not abuse these newly given contact information for your officer as this new path may be closed to others in the future.

It seems like a widespread issue then. @llgn_sp mentioned Scarborough‘s oaths are cancelled for March as well.

Actually you might want to check with the office again. Their oaths came back up 30 mins after they got the cancellation notice, they are proceeding the oaths as normal and said the issue was resolved.

I saw your question in some other thread as well and somebody replied to it. You will not receive a confirmation email unless you click on the button to send test results via email. Your wife might have clicked it and you did not. Regardless, your test is concluded. Don't worry

We took the test nearly 45 days apart from each other. I was wondering that this confirmation email may be a new thing because I do not recall seeing a button to forward the test results to my email.

Email is just for our reference and confirmation.
Just call ircc and confirm that your test results are recorded or not.
If it is recorded and it shows as passed in your file then you no need to worry.

Guess what? As I suspected, my test was not recorded. I have just received this from the Vancouver office:

Due to technical incompatibility between the online Citizenship test program and the device that you used to take the test (ie: laptop/tablet and/or webcam) either no photos or poor quality photos were recorded during your online test. Therefore your test result has been invalidated.

How did you suspect it? Did you use phone? Or was your camera quality or internet speed not good? This is absurd, having to retake the test now...
