ONIP: Alternatives document for Birth certificate

Hi Team,

I was born in 1986 and don't have a birth certificate, Any alternative documents i can produce instead of BC ?

In old treads (Before Express entry) CIC accepted self declarations. I dont know whether ONIP accept that now.

Experts please Help

i was in same situation. i wrote letter of explanation that why i cant submit BC and submitted my 10th mark list and passport copy. I worked out for me last year. But by the time i applied for CIC(Federal part) i got my birth certificate.
