Hi all,
I like to get peoples view on this.

Started working in Canada from 15 Sep 2016 to till date.During Feb took a two weeks break.

Created Express entry profile on 08 Sep 2017 and got ITA on 20 Sep 2017.Then got to know many PR application gets rejected bcoz of mistakes like this.

Thinking about whether to accept the invitation or not bcoz of the break.

Meanwhile Planning to get work experience letter from my company on 20 OCT 2017.Company showed the sample format on how the letter looks like.In that they didn't mention anything about my break in Feb or about 1560 hrs.They mentioned that I worked min 40hrs from 15 Sep 2016.

The ITA date is the critical date and ignoring the break in Feb you would have just over the 12 months. So the key here is the two week break and if this becomes apparent to IRCC whether they will count it as anual holiday. Most people advise having an extra few weeks at the time of the ITA. What CRS points have you got? You will have to decide whether to risk going forward with a PR application or declining the ITA and hoping for another draw at the right points level. There could be another draw tomorrow by which time you would have 2 to 4 weeks over 12months.

Depends what you mean by "break" - if you are salaried and took an unpaid leave of absence, you would not be able to count those two weeks. If you are salaried and took paid vacation, that still counts as employment.

If you are paid an hourly wage and took vacation time, often you have vacation pay added to your pay at the rate of 4% (in Ontario, anyway), and you would still be entitled to two weeks of vacation time, and would be able to count those weeks.
