Nope, I think one should avoid Square One. It's too crowded!!! I just went over there to check for the driver license... But, definitively, I am going to other place.. I really don't like to go places where I have to wait all day.

On sunday, I went to the Walmart on Mavis Rd. which is less crowded and more accessible to me.

Most of the new settlers in Mississauga area prefer Square One because of easy availability of bus service to any area. Square One is of course crowded because many people love that mall. Easy access from parking to Walmart, Sears and Zellers.

Same choice as me I don't like square one area too. I moved far away on Winston Churchill. Must say perfect place to live.

So far, I have been able to open an account, order checks, apply for a credit card.
Obtained Social Insurance Numbers for the family.
Interchanged my license ang guess what? I got my Full G license... (Well, the plastic comes in 2-3 weeks). They gave me a paper one with out the pic... My license was from Florida.
As of now, I am 100% concentrated in the lease...

I had to rent a car, otherwise there is no much one can do.

You have done allot in few days. Congrats for the license you are lucky to get direct G. Before renting a car do shop around and stay away from Big franchises like Hertz etc they will rip you off. I payed them thousands when i rented. Find some classifieds and search for local rental companies.

Thank you so much!!! I went to TD Bank and things went very good. It's a good thing to go and open an account. This time is very important since they get to explain vis to vis the importance of credit, which products are best. And as you know, every bank gets to say they are the best.. bla bla bla.

Anyway, I am keeping myself busy.. Will keep you updated...
