Thanks prforme for the warm welcome.

For your information, government wheels turn very slowly but surely. It might take months or years but it will come to pass since they also won the majority government too.

HI Eagle
I am so happy you are back.Just ignore some stupid people.Take care

All I can say is the only one you should be listening to is what CIC requests...follow the guidelines as set out by CIC and take EVERYTHING on this site and all the others with a pinch of salt...My experience has been EVERYTHING I have read here and even on the CIC site has been opposite, what has been requested and extended and changed is completely different then what we thought was going to happen...including flying to LA from Virginia at a cost of $2k with paper work from courts 24 years ago...CIC will pick and choose what parts of the manual they want to use, including ignoring emails and phone calls from a CIC approved Dr for 2.5 months...and like any other "system"...budgets need to be supported by numbers and there has to be cases that take longer then others or the stats provided to the public will be untruths...Just be careful people....this is a site for people to express their experience...No one and I mean NO is capable of giving you the results of your case unless they are in fact a CIC employee releasing info that should not be released...We are all in situations that we don't want to be and we are looking for answers that are just not out there...example ...Our CIC Case Manager could not open the medical file, goodness knows why we are USA to Canada so we are not in an under developed country, but we, with help from the CIC Dr's office have had to now mail my husbands X-rays...in the past review of Meds has taken 3 to 4 months...we are hoping that because this is a CIC error that maybe they will review the info sooner....I doubt it but if we have not heard anything within a month I will be contacting the Immigration MP and expressing my concern once again..back on track...take EVERYTHING on here with a pinch of salt...NO ONE has the answers other then what is on the CIC site...

Welcome back eagle :) ;D

Eagles flying high eh ! Welcome back eagle333 ;D

Welcome back Eagle

Nice to have you back Eagle,

Yesterday my wife received a request for an updated medical exam and police clearance certificate. This should be one step closer to a request for passport. She has a medical exam in Kyiv booked for November 16. It seems to be cutting it close to have them here before Christmas and New Year.

The wheels of immigration move slowly.

I value your thoughts.

Thank you.

Jobe (as in one needs the patience of Jobe for this immigration process)

Hello Eagle333,
Thank you for the hope you have been spreading around and for taking time to answer our numerous questions. I do have one for you and other experienced members in this forum.
I consider my case a non routine one, because I made some mistakes on the IMM8 form, I however have corrected it and it shows on the notes of my last GSCM.
MY question is my ecas turn IP on October 9th, It seems a lot of peoples e-cas turn IP that same date. below is my time line

Application received Nov 28th 2014
We have started processing your application March 2nd 2015
Medical Received.

Now, My medical expired on Oct 18 , I haven't gotten any re medical request. Eligibility on my last ecas I order Sept 19 show that eligibility is IN PROCESS on the 23/7/2015.
Though i have just order a new GSCM, But before it comes,Can you please evaluate my timeline and tell me what you think in regards to interview . I want to note that my visa office processing time is 11 months.

Eagles flying high eh ! Welcome back eagle333 ;D

Thanks braveheart09, as you all know that Eagle333 will not engage himself in useless confrontations with some short sighted birds. Eagle333 is not an immigration officer but he knows where he searches his information from.

He who has ears let him/her hear this. I am here to help people that love me with my little knowledge. Egle333 got his PR in 2008 then flew to Canada, my PR expired in 2013 I did not want to renew it and did not neither want to apply for citizenship. I decided to apply for Citizenship in 2014 and I got it this year. So if some birds want to waist his/her time to shoot at Eagle333 remember you are wasting your time and you're blocking your immigration way with a curse because Eagle333 loves you even if you don't like him but he has a message of love in his heart. Sorry braveheart09 this is not toward you, but those ones who want to create chaos on this thread. Guys we need to stay together there is no need of fighting here. If you know more than eagle you are most welcome and help others.

Thanks.

Jobe I know I could be wrong sometime when I comment on people's timelines but I always leave a margin because I don't know what CIC is able to do. However in your case I firmly told you on this thread that your wife scape from a face to face interview and ended up with a phone interview and soon will hear something positive from CIC. I am so happy when I see people happy and I really pray for you so that you can see your loved wife.

If you read between lines you will see a big improvement in your file, I will ask 3 rhetorical questions hopefully they will open your eyes.

Q1. Why are they requesting PCC if Eligibility did not pass?
Q2. Since medical expiry date is linked to the visa expiry date, is it fair to say that once they get a new medical they will not tarry to issue a visa?
Q3. Why they did not send a face to face interview letter together with PCC and Re-medical?
